Hi,
I am using a PC keyboard that has extra keys such as a "calculator" and
"new mail message" key etc. I would like to be able to press these
keys and for the relevant action to be performed.
e.g. if the "new mail message" key is pressed then it starts the Mail
app. if not already started, and then brings up a new mail message
window, so I can compose an email.
I have looked at adding a new Keyboard Shortcut in System Preferences,
however this only works if Mail is open and currently active. However
this is not really what I had in mind.
Any ideas or solutions with this one?
Many thanks for any hints, ideas or solutions,
Mike Youell.

it'll require an application/utility by the keyboard manufacturer.
