• AppleWorks 6 problem

Weird, you are working on a document and scroll back up the page to view earlier work, but when you scroll back down everything out of sight
below the edge of the window has disappeared.

It is actually there, as Preview shows it after a print request, but it
    has become invisible.

Where the hell do you start with this sort of fundamental problem?

Isolate the problem. It could be document specific, in which case creating another document with this same app. would not show the same behavior. If so, deleting the document, or copying it's data and pasting into a new document might help. Creating a new copy from scratch would be the worst case scenario

It could be application specific. In which case, any new document created
with that application would exhibit the same behavior, but no other application produces similar behavior. If so, deleting the preferences for that application, or at worst, deleting the application AND preferences then reinstalling should fix things.

It could be OS specific. In which case any document window in any (or more than just AW) would exhibit the same behavior. To fix this you are likely looking at OS repair or replacement.
