• "No Available Windows" error

I asked a week or so ago about my "No Available Windows" error, and was asked for an image. When you think about it, if there is no window available then a screenshot izn't possible either. I shot the screen with my cellphone - let's hope I can transfer it on this text only system.

Nope. It's pretty simple, just a rectangle containing "No Available Windows", no other information.

Anybody have any ideas what's controlling this, some startup parameter I can change?

of course it's possible. a screen shot generates a file, no window
    needed.

upload it to imgur and link to it.

the error message is itself misleading. no available windows hasn't
    been an issue since forever.

a little searching suggests pressing too hard on the force touch
trackpad can cause it, so don't press so hard or disable it entirely.
another possibility is invoking mission control with no open windows.

if not, post the console log around the time of the error.
redact any personal information that you don't want to share.

You were asked for a lot of things.

Refer to the replies to your original post. There were some suggestions
    there.

I got a question. If you guys know so much about women, how come
you're here at like the Gas 'n' Sip on a Saturday night
completely alone drinking beers with no women anywhere?

Ahhh ... the "joys" of idiotic Force Touch added to the silliness of a touch-only trackpad (no actual click button). :-\

you have obviously never used one and are completely clueless as to how
    they work or feel.

a force touch trackpad is indistinguishable from an old style trackpad,
except when the computer is off, it's that good.
