Hi,
I would like to get some help with a problem we are having.
I am a PC person who is trying to help a friend to set up a small
office with MACs.
Firstly, where is the best place to get info for bugs and F&Q.....?
Secondly, the problem at the moment is that the server was up and
running, most services were going well. Than one of the girl in the
office tried to use WORD and it has frozen on her. Waiting a few
minutes, she has decided to restart it at the power point.............
Now, it is booting up to the point where it say "Waiting for
application services", or something very similar. I am not there at
the moment!
I have tried a few things that I have found on the MAC site, yet no
help.
PLEASE, someone out there, I really do not want to reinstall
everything again!
Thanks a lot,
Laszlo.

Hi,
“Hmmm, firstly, ignore Enough”
Firstly, who is this dude? Did not come across the name yet.....
Secondly, thanks for the responds!
Well, the box is a simple out of the box, single proc. 1Gh G4. Silver
with 512 Mb/80Gb/Super.....
It has come with OS X and than I just loaded up OS X Server for them.
“I am a little confused about...”
I am not surprised about it, yet some people want to save by using
every box is available to them, so they need to use it for checking
emails and type letters.....
There has been no other application loaded beside the ones come with
the box....
“ ... you have tried a few things...”
On the Apple web site I have found a some suggestions to boot up to
Unix and than mount the volume and copy file into *.old and scan the
drive....
I do not have the print out with me, so I can not be more specific at
the moment.
Well, that is about it all. I hope that you could give me a new
direction to explore.
Yet I am considering just to reload the whole thing. If that is
something you could help with, would be greatly appreciated.
Kindest regards,
Laszlo.
