I need to network a Win XP PC with an Imac (OS 9.1) and an Ibook (OS X). We have a DSL modem that needs to be shared out.
I have networked PC's and Macs before but I've never done a wireless PC/Mac setup. Can anyone point me where to start?
You need a wireless router for a start. I suggest getting one that
supports AppleTalk routing between the LAN and WLAN ports to let your
iMac and iBook talk to each other using AppleTalk. I recently purchased
a NetGear MR314 (the newer 814/814v2 doesn't support AppleTalk). You
can a list of WAPs that support AppleTalk from this page:

Your WAP will have a WAN port -- connect this to your DSL modem. Connect
the iMac to a LAN port in the WAP (you probably want to get a WAP that
has LAN ethernet ports). Configure the WAP to connect to your DSL
provider, and to support DHCP on the LAN/WLAN interfaces. Configure
TCP/IP on the PC, iMac and iBook to use a DHCP server, and you should
be set to go.
Once you have wireless connectivity working, reconfigure the WAP and
the wireless computers to require/use WEP. It's not terrific security,
but is better than having a completely unsecured wireless network.
