• An error seen on Big Sur - can anyone else see it?

I hope readers can see the error shown in the bottom left-hand corner of
    this screenshot.

    https://ibb.co/Vjp06JQ

I don't see the error on my iMac running OS X El Capitan or on my iPad
Pro. I only see the error on my iMac running Big Sur 11.3.1

I've cleared out all my caches and history, but the error shown remains.
I've even started in Safe Boot mode and run First Aid on both hard
drives in this machine, but without achieving any change.

The emboldened words “Welcome, Support and Privacy Policy” are obscuring the address on the main ‘About. Etresoft, Inc’ page - https://etresoft.com

    Has anyone else seen this?

Any ideas regarding the possible cause?

    TIA

    I don't think it's a "Big Sur" error.

Rather, it's something to do with how Safari interprets and
    loads the page.

I just tried it with Safari 14.1 and Mojave, and the text in
the lower left is messed up there, too.

Then, I loaded the page using the Brave browser, and it
loaded without any problems at all.

    You are absolutely right! :-)

    I discovered the reason ...........

I looked in Safari preferences —> ‘Advanced” ..... and changed the number!

    Here’s a note to that effect. https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/an-error-seen-on-big-sur-can-anyone-else-see-it.2297443/?post=29927034#post-29927034
