    Python isn't dead - despite funding cuts, programming language powers on

    I haven't followed Python closely, but I wouldn't expect it to be dead; it at least seems like it's still fairly popular.

    I don't follow it closely, either, but was surprised to hear anyone claim
    it could be dead. ;)

    Python is used a lot by Raspberry PI enthusiasts.
    I have played around with Python on my PI's.
    I don't think Python is going away anytime soon.

    Python is used a lot by Raspberry PI enthusiasts. I have played around with Python on my PI's. I don't think Python is going away anytime soon.

    I've also seen Python used for web stuff - Several years ago, I worked on a web software project that used the Flask framework, which uses Python on the back-end (and JavaScript, HTML, and CSS on the front end).

    I've also used Pyon for software test automation (using PyTest).

    Python seems to be used a lot in AI automation & related workflows these days.
