It's good to be back. I have a dumb qustion for you guys though. Since being down for so long, I lost all my long time users, so I thought it would be good to post a view ads to get the word out that I am back up and running. Question: How do you make (which program) and upload ads on Dove-net, etc? It's been so long, I have totally forgotten. It's like learning everything all over again. :)

Just remember to use -i switch to import a text file you create along with a header file.

So the syntax should be something like this...

smbutil iC:\sbbs\someFolder\someFile.TXT c:\sbbs\data\subs\echoFolder.shd < Header.hdr

The Header.hdr format...

Ok, you should have access to the Wildcat! file area now. I've moved
all of my stuff of a special directory for Wildcat! folks. A search
for QWK or qwknet should yield the results you are looking for.

I downloaded it the other day. I am interested in that auto post script you have to post txt files to message areas.

I have an idea... I'll shoot you an eamil at your BBS on something else I have been thinking that may bridge WINS with Synchronet as well.

You're welcome. Actually dug up the code to look at it yesterday and
found that there were a few things that needed fixing (the code has
gone through 4 rewrites since I've lost the code for previous
versions). You are running Wildcat! 6.x, correct?

I am not going to get into this discussion. It's a moot point. I have not seen this happen so far on any of the echomail networks that I carry and that others carry, so I am going to end this thread right now.
