    My new idea is to write a multi-line system where each node is answered
    by a different retro computer... all linked together using a linux
    based server. The BBSes could all be in Pascal so only the low level
    stuff would need recoding for each node *

    The idea would have have real classic hardware, but could make due with emulators in the meantime.


    * This, of course, won't be as easy as it sounds.

    Yeah, I think so. It's something to do. It's that or write a space trading game.

    I could use a warmer house. The cost of heating has doubled overnight. It's supposed to go up another 50% in August. Unfortunately, electricity has
    gone up as well. I've got an Apple ][gs, an Apple ][+ (which isn't really reliable unfortunately), and an Atari 800XL laying around here. Oh, and
    one of these single board CP/M things. Problem with that -- only one COM port... and you need that for the console. Stupid thing.

    i have a fishtank in my bedroom so with the humidity and the warm water my bedroom is always hot. in the winter i dont even have the heat on in this room
