Weird.. I don't know how that would have happened. I posted it the way I post all my replies here.

if you were using slyedit i suggest you test it more. i had some issues when re-editing msgs or moving around in the text to make changes so i am using another editor now.

"some issues when re-editing msgs or moving around in the text to make changes" doesn't really tell me much. I've always been using SlyEdit to write messages since I created it and thought I had all those kinds of issues worked out years ago, but if you're seeing some issues, it would be good to describe them more so I can reproduce and look for a fix.

That wasn't me. I'm not using Mystic, nor am I considering switching to it.

i dont know how i can describe it more. it screws up when re-editing a message or when moving around and editing a msg.
i've always had these problems on and off with slyedit even when i updated. i dont care to go any further, i changed editors.
fsedit works for me

okay but did you see the header? were you ever on that bbs?

for one thing, it had at least one cursor movement sequence that moved the cursor to 0,0 or 1,1 and wrote your message all over my message header... there were other color codes in it so that like the first letter of either each sentence or paragraph was bright white... i could not even tell who wrote the message unless i attempted to reply so the BBS would fill in the TO: line with their name...
but you're not the only one with this type of stuff from mystic systems...

but you're not the only one with this type of stuff from mystic systems... many times i see BBS ads posted that overwrite the header in much the same way... i've gotten tired of trying to tell folks about these problems and most of them never seem to read the areas where the replies are made so i just delete their posts or ignore them completely and move on... it really is sad, though...

Pretty much what happened to me.
This was clearly an attempt by Nightfox to hack DOVEnet and intercept our QWK packets before posting to the rest of us. By reading the messages milliseconds before everyone else he can trade on the information and make millions.
