    I am thinking about putting Mother 3 English patch on my phone and play that during my next long flight.

    Not to do with that, but on the topic of retro gaming.. Have you all heard of romhacking.net? Unfortunately I think the site is going read-only and is just going to be a forum.. but I think you can still get the rom hacks/patches for a bit, or they've been archived. Anyway, most of them are benal... some of them, though, basically make the patched rom into a whole new game or add levels or whatever. I've got several patched SMB3 and Zelda roms that are pretty fun.

    There are two continuation projects, AFAICT:

    1. The former romhacks.org took on a copy of the archive and rebranded itself
    as RomHack Plaza. (https://www.romhackplaza.org)
    2. There's also NeoRHDN (https://www.neoromhacking.net), an Acmlmboard forum
    that wants to pick up the torch.

    DEW EET. :D The /Mother 3/ English translation is one of the paragons of ROM hacking, and I am a lesser protogen for not yet having played it.

    Also Nintendo should of remixed some of the music, i think that is why
    the game is not released in usa/can/au/nz/europe area.

    Which tracks? I wasn't aware of music licensing issues with /Mother 3/.

    Thanks! Also, sorry for the blank reply; I have a habit of accidentally pressing Esc-S (send message) instead of Esc-Q (quote) or Esc-A (abort message). @.@;
