Some of you here may know that I operate a book store. It has been
brutal to keep my head above water, so to speak. "Good to see you
still open.." has become quite a cliché.
Have you heard of Libro.fm? It sounds like an interesting way for
local bookstores to partner with a DRM-free audiobook seller.
Hopefully there's a cut of the action for the bookstore.
Do you have any store-related content on your BBS? Atomic Books in Baltimore used to run a BBS and had some tie-in to the physical store,
if memory serves.
That begs the question - we need a book echo around here. I'm doing a
lot of reading during the pandemic... I'm enjoying being able to
browse bookstores again, as long as they're offering hand sanitizer
and requiring masks.
