  • System down

    Hello All!

    This system has been down for just over a week.

    This was caused by a linux system reboot that the boot tool - grub could not find a file that is present.

    This forced me to rebuild the system boot drive using a SSD from a distro DVD but the biggest pain was re-installing all of the packages and this is not complete as I am now waiting to see if I get error messages that say what is needed and currently missing.


    System is polling out for outstanding echos and files so that is a start but may have an issue with inbounds not being answered.

    Starting to look into this and could be an issue with the firewalls.
