Chrome does the exact same thing.
Over time I've tried them all, going back to Netscape.
I find Firefox best suits my needs and have used it for years.
Once in a while FF with mess around with the browser causing me trouble
and would use one or the other but I always go back to FF.
I detested IE, but feel a little better with Edge. IE had a bad habit of crashing a lot, stalling, etc.
I have an iPhone and recently Apple made some changes that allow me to
use FF as my default browser rather then Safari. I seldom used it since couldn't import bookmarks.
But I seldom use the phone for the net anyway.
