Let me clarify - I know the features of the MP command, but how would I
have a user, who is presumably on a different message area and/or in a different group be able to hit a command, change to the NetMail area,
post the message and (here's the kicker) return to the area in which
they originally were.
The key is to make the Netmail base a member of all message groups but with read/post ACS set for users that you want to be able to see/use it.

So if I create a [P] Post NetMail command, do I put the NetMail's base
ID in the dat field? That's not listed as a valid flag according to the documentation, but I've learned that Mystic has all sorts of tricks up
its sleeves. :)
Thanks for the tip!

... Read messages, not taglines
You want to have a MP menu command to post a new message setup.
Then you need a message base set up and defined as a 'netmail' base type
The key is to assign ACS settings for List,Read,Post access such that
only users that have the correct security settings can list the base, read the message and post to the netmail base.
You only need one netmail base to handle all netmail on your BBS, Mystic will route netmails to different networks (zones etc.) on it's own.
Thanks for the awesome info! That helped a lot. I also found one more
