    It failed miserably in Louisiana. Nobody wants it back.

    It's not here, by that name. Many of its concepts were integrated into the existing system, though.

    Ex: The question is "show 5x3" and the kid makes 5 rows of 3 each.
    But "the answer" is 3 rows of 5 each.

    As those of us who are educated know, the answer is 15 and both 5x3 and 3x5 ar
    correct.

    As long as you come up with 15, it is the right answer.

    They are going to confuse kids so much they will never be able to add, subtract, or multiply without their smartphone calculators.

    Nope, the purpose of the "new" (not so new anymore) methods of teaching math
    is to enable kids to better understand how math works.

    Can't have people who can think on their own. They do things like
    resist the control of the Ignorant Elite.

    People who don't properly understand math do things like spread vaccine misinformation because they don't uderstand how to interpret
    vaccine information and data.

    Anti-vaxxers are proof that the "old math" failed them, badly.
