Joe Biden thought the 15,000 refugee cap was good enough, but AOC cried about it so he increased it significantly to 125,000. In doing so, he didn't give
    any reason.

I don't have a problem with real refugees coming to the USA, but isn't it a problem that the president caves to pressure from lunatics like AOC?

How does this look to liberals? They're probably fine with the liberal outcome of this story, but are they fine with having a president who caters to the wishes of a lunatic from 1 single district? I doubt that any of AOC's constituents are even asking for this.

None needed, as he is free to change the number any time he wants.

Joe Biden is the POTUS. As such, AOC will have to wait her turn.

How does this look to liberals?

Fine to everybody, including liberals. You got a problem with that?

They're probably fine with the liberal outcome of this story, but are they fine with having a president who caters to the wishes of a lunatic from 1 single district?

AOL won election to Congress, and has been re-elected. Seems to be
a popular gal in her district.

And Joe Biden remains as popular, or even more so, in his district ...

I doubt that any of AOC's constituents are even asking for this.

Senator Bernie Sanders loves it ...

The only valid response to anything AOC says is to laugh like it was the dumbest thing you've ever heard - because it probably was.

AOC is just 1 rep out of hundreds in the country. Her feedback should be respected by Biden, but he doesn't have to turn the slaveship around just because 1 rep has a complaint. What if my rep has a counter complaint?

I doubt that any of AOC's constituents are even asking for this.

Senator Bernie Sanders loves it ...

Ok then. There's 1 rep & 1 senator. And they speak for the whole country?

Being part of the majority carries a lot more weight than if one
    is part of the minority.

Joe Biden is the king of lefty comedy. He can't not say something hilariously stupid. I feel bad for him though, because I think he's being held captive. They won't let him be a leader, so everything is done on any random Democrat's whim. I doubt they even let him sniff chicks anymore. Let the old man sniff some chicks; he's harmless.

Today it's AOC getting more refugees and tomorrow it will be Rep Tlaib getting her district un-policed. Give it a few weeks and we'll have medicare for all
    of the earth's humans.

He doesn't even know. He's spent 47 years being a chronic liar and
plagerist. Now he's so senile that he doesn't even know what day it
    is.

They won't let him be a leader,

He can't be leader. He probably can't even lead himself to the men's
    room.

But they don't want him to be a leader. They want him to be a puppet.

so everything is done on any random Democrat's whim.

It only seems that way. Every once in a while, they throw a bone to
a group to keep them with the party line.

Today it's AOC getting more refugees and tomorrow it will be Rep Tlaib getting her district un-policed.

    Which I find funny because Tlaib's constituents don't agree. I don't think
we need to worry about her being in office after the next election.

I'd love to see a count on how many of her constituents asked her to increase the cap. She just butts in when she notices an opportunity to whine about something that nobody else is whining about.

    is part of the minority.

Being a Democrat US Rep means that you represent your party. Ok, I'm learnin.

I hope you're right about that!

We might not to wait for an election to get rid of Mad Max. She's trying to intimidate jurors in the Chauvin trial. Telling people to go out there and be more confrontational, like social distancing is no longer a thing.

Not the first time she has done that. She was also (one of) the one(s) who
was telling people to confront Trump cabinet members and appointees
whenever they saw them in public.

Psaki and a member of the press corps (from PBS) were trying to justify her actions during a press conference. Telling people to get out and voice
their opinions is one thing... encouraging them to be confrontational is something else entirely.

Maybe she will slip up and make statements like that while in Florida
    sometime. :)

I think she's already slipped. I only wish Marjorie wasn't the one introducing the Maxine resolution. But with support from other Republicans she might be able to get that lunatic out of the committees. Once she's out of committees
it seems like she will be less useful to her voters.

Mad Maxine hasn't been useful to her voters for a long time now. Why do you think that voter fraud has been rampant in California for so long? If they didn't fix the elections, Maxine (and others) would have been out a long time ago.
