The November, 2020 issue of "The Modern Square", the monthly
publication of the Arkansas State Square Dance Federation
(ASSDF), was released today, Oct. 15, 2020, for e-Edition
subscribers. The print copy was sent to Arkansas Printing,
and it should be printed and mailed out by Oct. 23, 2020;
then be in subscribers mailboxes by Halloween. Work on the
December, 2020 issue will start around Oct. 25, 2020, and
the deadline for that will be Nov. 14, 2020.

Due to various issues (readability and cost, among other
things), several items will be removed from the print
edition, effective January, 2021 -- but the registration
forms for the upcoming National Square Dance Convention
were already taken out, due to readability issues...and
because of "printing page requirements". I have to have
a certain number of pages, and if I'm over or under that,
something has to be added or removed. There are no changes,
however, to the e-Edition.

I have been leery about booking travel to the 70th National
Square Dance Convention, due to various issues. Yet, I need
some time away from things, especially with all the events
in my life prior to my late Mom's death, and afterwards. I
am going to check with Amtrak soon on a possible train trip,
as I don't want to drive, fly, or take the bus...due to
COVID-19, and because long drives are too hard on me.
