  • Cannot open font files in Windows 98

    Please would someone offer help on why I cannot open many of my fonts files under the fonts directory
    of windows. As the Marlett.ttf file cannot be open that
    I get weird characters for my menu and windows control buttons and dialog screens. Thanks.

    Try running TweakUI (available free from Microsoft) and run repair font folder.
