Can someone explain in LAYMAN'S terms the difference
between these two?
TIA

I think one difference is that FAT32 uses local time but NTFS uses UTC.
Could someone test this on Windows 2000/XP and NTFS, please?
1. Select the timezone "GMT +2 Helsinki, Riga, Tallinn"
from Windows 2000/XP which runs on NTFS filesystem.
2. Set the Windows clock to time 2003-12-31 10:00 AM.
3. Browse to your NTFS drive and create a new text file.
4. Set clock back to currect time and don't change the
timezone (GMT +2 Helsinki, Riga, Tallinn).
5. Is the file created at 10:00 AM or 09:00 AM?
Thanks a lot,
Mika
