Hi,
I'm not sure I have the actual program disks for 3.1.3, come to think of
it. But the actual Textalker software 3.1.3 was on some products
produced and published by the American Printing House for the Blind, in Louisville, Kentucky. Not sure of changes, but I'm pretty sure 3.1.3
speaks some more useful punctuations in some punctuation mode.

Hi,
Obscure one here. I'm blind, so use the Echo speech synthesizer with
Textalker speech generation software. The latest version I actually have
for DOS 3.3 and ProDOS is 3.1.3. I have the actual program version 3.1.4
for DOS 3.3 but not a full disk image. I've heard there was a version
3.1.6, but haven't been able to find a copy anywhere. Googling seems to
provide little if any evidence that it ever existed. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Jayson
Hi Jayson,
I have an Echo LC which was supposed to be used with the Apple IIe Card for the Mac. It came with Textalker 3.1.2P on a 3.5 inch disk. Considering how late in the Apple II timeline this card was introduced, I did not expect any newer versions to be available.
I also have a late revision of the Echo+ that came with Textalker 3.1.2 as well. It was bundled in a DOS 3.3 and ProDOS version on each side of a 5.25 disk. I uploaded scans and disk images on archive.org some time ago: https://archive.org/details/StreetElectronicsEcho
Where did you get the later Textalker versions? Are you aware of any improvements or bugfixes?
