Hi. I'm the happy owner of a Disk ][ unit, and my task now is to see
if it works. The only problem is that I own a //c and while I now
it's possible to conect them I don't know how to build an adapter, so
I need some guide to do it... Any help?
Thanks!

I forgot to mention that the cable fron any other Apple II 5'25"
drive except the DuoDisk will work as an adapter. Maybe someone has
a dead drive and is willing to part with the cable.
Wayne
Yeah, I have an extra Apple 5.25 drive cable I can let ya have.
I was keeping it for such an emergency, but I can let it go if
you need it and don't like to solder. ;-)

Well Bill, thanks a lot for the cable, but the fact is that I live in Argentina and it could be a little bit complicated... and since A2's
were quite rare here, I'll try to build one by myself (Is this english expression used OK??). Anyway, thanks Wayne and Bill for your help!

Well....Hello again. It seems that things are no always as easy as one
would like them to be!! So... I need of your help again.
Besides the pin to pin table Wayne gave me to build the cable, I've
searched for some extra info on the net and I've found other people's
tables, but I've found some discrepancies regarding to the voltage
lines..
Here are them, where Table 1 is Wayne's, Table 2 is from a post on
this newsgroup back on 9 Feb 92 and Table 3 from another post on 28
Mar 95
Table 1 Table 2 Table 3

20 ----- 10 20 ----- 10 20 ----- 10 WRITE PROTECT DIF??>n/c----- 16 n/c----- 16 ??? DB19-pin16= n/c
So, I'm not sure how exactly build my cable, and since the
discrepances here are with Voltage lines, I'm afraid to end with a //c
and a Drive ][ both fried like eggs, and remember how difficult to
find these machines are here in Argentina! So here comes another
question: why the IDC has four pins with +12v: are they for different purposes? Or it's just the same if I connect the +12V pin on the DB 19
(pin 7) to any +12V pin on the IDC 20 (pins 13, 15, 17 and 19)??? Does
the drive ][ need to recive +12v through each of these pins??? And
finnally, on TABLE 3, IDC20-pin12 <-----> DB19-pin16, should be a
typing mistake... what do you think?
Thanks again. If you look at the top of the analog card in your disk II you'll find
