Hello all,
I have a very strange problem I have been playing with for a
while here. I am trying to do "Null Modem" transfers via my PC with Hypertermain to my Apple //e with ProTERM 3.1
I have ADT working just fine with the SSC settings for that and even ProTerm 2.0 works well. Just can't seem to get ProTERM 3.1 up and
rolling. I set up
a "system" in ProTerm called "LOCAL", 9600, and no phone number. On
the PC side, I open the COM1 port and on the Apple //e side I tell
ProTERM to Dial. ProTERM sees the connection and if I send characters
from the PC to the Apple //e REALLY SLOW. They show up, but anything faster and it prints the first character and nothing else (once in a
while it'll print an extra character I sent.)
Example:
PC sends: TESTING123
ProTerm shows: T
I have tried this at just about any baud rate (300,1200,9600)
PC sends: TESTING123TESTING123
ProTerm shows: TT2T
I am certain the connection is working as it works fine with ADT and ProTerm 2.0. Very strange.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Just want to make sure you are using the null modem driver.
From memory I think it is OA-I on boot or the 'MISC' menu has something like install or setup.
When the modem selection comes up look for null modem.
