Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find spare parts, or has some parts to sell
to get a Apple II Europlus working? I bought this machine to use as a
source of spares for my main machine, but there are only a few parts
missing I would like to get it working again if possible. The parts I
need for this machine are:
ROMS: 341-0020, 341-0015, 341-0014, 341-0011 (addresses F8, F0, E8, D0)
Keytop for the "." ">" key.
I'm also looking for a cheap source of 4116 RAM chips and a 74166 as
well.
I have noticed that there seems to be 2 types of keyboard on the
Europlus (and perhaps II+ as well?).
One has keytops that have different slopes on different rows of keys.
The top row slopes toward you while the bottom row slopes away. I have
seen this keyboard on a Europlus made in Ireland, and the key switch
mechanisms are built from a single plastic moulding.
The second type has keys that all have the same slope on all rows, which
is very slightly towards you. I have seen this on a Europlus made in the
USA and its key switches are all discrete switches held in a metal
plate.
The keytop I'm after is from the second type of keyboard.
If anyone has got spare ROMS, keytop, RAM or a 74166 to sell, I would be prepared to pay a fair price and shipping costs.
Thanks,
