    The only certain knowledge I can offer is that the best sector interleave
    for JiffyDOS is 4. Too bad you didn't ask about JiffyDOS! :)

    Thanks for that info, but I was interested only in hardware speeder DOS's. There's too many software speeder carts out there. The hardware ones, on extended disks, modify the standard D64 BAM sector to store the entries
    for tracks 36-40.

    Many thanks to Wolfgang Moser for his very in-depth analysis of the
    various speeder formats, especially his delving into the ROM's to
    determine why there were differences in the overflow interleave values.

    Thanks also go to Nicolas Welte who explained why the interleave wasn't different (much) from the standard. This info was very helpful, and will
    be included in my FORMATS documents.
