There are a few people working on getting Modem Wars to work over the Internet, using PC's to 'bridge' between the 64s and a TCP/IP connection.
I don't know how far it's gotten, watch this group for details. Search
back a bit as well to see what's been discussed before.
I don't see how that would help. How would one use Modem Wars with telnet
in any case??? You'd still have to connect to a modem, even if it's at an ISP...
