    Hi,

you may try the 8bit-museum pcb gallery: http://www.8bit-museum.de/pcb/. Has mid- and hi-res pictures.

    Regards,
    Thomas

    Hi group,

I'm currently working on an adpater to connect the RR-net (nic for C64
with Retro Replay) to other 8-bit computers. Connecting a Silversurfer
will also be possible. The PCB has connectors for VIC-20,
C16/116/plus4, and I'm thinking that PET could also be easy.

The internal connection for memory expansion seems to be simple 26-pin headers (two of them). However, since I don't own a PET, I have no
idea of what it looks like mechanically. I can see the diagrams of the schematics from funet.fi, but they give no hint at how much room there
is (I have to work with cables, presumably).

Can you either send me (or point me to) pictures of that part of the
PET board? Detail wanted, bandwidth is not a problem here. Please mind
that the eMail address I'm using in thie newsgroup is not valid.

    Thanks for your help,

That's true for most models (e.g. the 8296), but the original PET had a card edge connector as expansion bus. The location of the two pin headers is also different in the 2001n series (3000 and early 4000 in Europe, I think).

Yes, cables might be the best solution. Which memory slot will you choose on the PET? Especially the 8296 memory map is pretty crowded.

    Nicolas

PS: You know I'm still waiting for something from you.

Which model PET of the PET series and CBM models. I notice a big connector that has more well more than 26 pins. This would be helpful.
