    ERROR: [ ioErr (-36): I/o error (bummers) ]

    File or directory not found?

    -Andre

I checked via CarbonErrors (clamxav.com guy codes it for cocoa) and it
    is really
    I/O error (bummers)

That sounded like a rights issue (file protected) or a real "bummer" hardware/filesystem issue to me.

There is no file protection and I do not think that the failure is
caused by a hardware or filesystem error because only doc and xls files
    are affected by this problem.

    Kind regards. Friedrich
