  • fonts no longer available ?

    After logging out and back into a PowerMac/g4/867-2, I suddenly find
    that many fonts are not available to programs. The "missing" fonts
    are present in /Library/Fonts, ~/Library/Fonts, or
    /System/Library/Fonts, but they do not show up in choices of fonts for programs.

    I tried deleting various caches that seemed to have something to do
    with fonts, but with no luck. Georgia and many other fonts no longer
    seem to be "available" to many programs.

    How do I get these fonts back? Thanks.
